Dear PTO Members:
As you may know, Dr. Colleen McKay from Cook County School District 130 is retiring at the end of the 2026-2027 school year.
The Board of Education has hired School Exec Connect, an executive search firm, to assist us in finding a new Superintendent. Dr. Tim Shimp and Dr. David Palzet, consultants with School Exec Connect, recommend that we gather information from the entire District 130 community about our District's strengths, challenges, and priorities, and seek all constituents’ views on the skills, attributes, and characteristics desired in the next Superintendent.
We invite you to assist us by participating in a PTO Group Forum. As a PTO member, you have an important perspective that we hope you will share with our consultants in a Group Forum that will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the Eisenhower Cooperative, located at 5318 W. 135th Street, Crestwood, IL 60418, and will last approximately 45 minutes.
