About Us:

The School District # 130 Foundation was incorporated in December of 2005. The Foundation is a tax-exempt (501)(3)(c) organization which operates independently from School District #130. The Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of trustees that meets regularly to monitor funding disbursements, establish expenditure goals, and to review fundraising and grant writing initiatives.

1. After school programs to assist children who need educational support and assistance

2. The middle school sports program

3. Intramural sports

4. Materials for science labs

5. Additional equipment and software to expand technology program and assist instruction

6. Enrichment programs such as foreign language instruction, orchestra, and theatre

How You Can Help:

You can support the foundation by attending foundation sponsored events, or you can make a tax deductible donation to the foundation. Checks should be made out to Cook County School District 130 Foundation. You can also volunteer to work with the fundraising committee on planning an event, grant writing, or simply sharing your ideas. Your assistance is always appreciated.
