EVEN START
The Even Start Family Literacy Program is located at Kerr Middle School- 12915 Maple. The program, which is an extension of Horace Mann School, is funded through a federal grant.
Even Start provides ESL (English-As-Second-Language) classes for parents who reside in School District #130. Parents who participate in the program must have a child or children under the age of eight. Parent support and parent/child activities are also a part of Even Start. FREE child care may be available to eligible families.
