Families First

Families First is the District #130 Birth to Three Program.  The purpose of Families First is to provide education and support for parents of children ages birth to 3 years old.  Our goal is to develop early, the skills and confidence in a child so that healthy physical, social and emotional development will blossom in these prime years.  Families First builds partnerships with families to strengthen and improve the quality of family life through parent/child activities, home visits, parent support and education groups and developmental screening.  Families First also provides the families with a parent lending library containing a large selection of age appropriate books and toys, in addition to many parenting videos and books.  Home visits and center based activities are provided by trained Child Development Specialists and Social Workers. All Services are provided in either English or Spanish
