Emergency Closing Information
The Superintendent of Cook County School District 130 is authorized to close school(s) in the event of hazardous weather or other emergency situations that threaten the safety of students, staff members, or school property. This decision to close due to hazardous weather is based on a number of factors, including storm severity, temperature, weather forecasts and road conditions. Information about school closings will be communicated immediately once a decision has been made.

A recorded call from the district will be sent to all families through Blackboard Connect.
An email from the district will be sent to all families who provided an email address during registration. Families may also sign up for email notifications from the Emergency Closing Center. (Please enter "130" for Facility Name and "Blue Island" for City.)
