Notice to Parents Regarding PowerSchool Parent Portal Log On:

There has been a change in the way you log on to Parent Portal. In order to access your students’ information you will have to create an account and link your students to your account. A parent account allows you to view the information for one or more students with a single sign in. You can also manage your personal account preferences.

To create a parent account, click on the link below, select the "Create Account" tab and enter the following information:

  • Name - Your first and last name
  • Email - Student notifications and correspondence related to your parent account will be sent to this email
  • Desired Username - Your username is your unique PowerSchool identity
  • Password - Your password must be at least 6 characters long
  • Student Access Information - Information for a minimum of one student, including the student name, Access ID, Access Password, and your relationship to the student


If you need your child's access ID please contact their school and they can send you that information.

Notice to Parents Regarding Connect-ED:

The Parent Notification System, Connect-ED, is in place and being utilized throughout the District.  If you have not received any messages, please contact your child's school to verify your contact information.

Notice to Parents Regarding Professional Staff Qualifications:

Parents may request information regarding the professional qualifications of their child's teachers, and of any instructional paraprofessionals assisting the teacher. Parents may obtain this information about teachers by going online to the Educator Certification System located on the Illinois State Board of Education website at Click on "Public Search" and then click on "Educator Name" and type in the name of the teacher. Then click on the teacher's name when it appears in the window and the teacher's current credentials and NCLB highly qualified status will be indicated.

Notice to Parents Regarding CPR Video Training:

State law requires the Illinois High School Association to post a training video on hands-only cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external deibrillators on its website. School districts are required to notify staff members and parents/guardians of the video, and encourage them to view it. The video is available at
