2012-13 Measurement of Academic Progress (MAP) Results for the Fall and Winter.
This chart reflects the MAP median scores by subject and grade level. The annual growth target is based off of MAP expectations for a student scoring at the grade level median for that subject. We have separate columns to show scores for all students, and then we also report the scores after taking out the scores for full time bilingual students. We have many ways of measuring growth and achievement so we also consider native language growth when measuring our progress. We have another assessment that measure native language growth. These scores are criterion referenced and do not have nationally normed comparisons. We do share this important information with individual parents. Please contact your child's teacher or Mr. Duggan if you have any question about these scores, or your child's progress.
