NHM Morning Announcements

October 19, 2017

  • It’s been one week since money wars has started to raise money for Hurricane Harvey victims. Mrs. Eide’s homeroom is in the lead with over $20 collected so far. C’mon Panthers! Who’s going to pull in the lead? Are you going to let Mrs. Eide’s homeroom win the party? Yeah, I didn’t think so. If your homeroom has not gotten involved yet, and you want to, see Mrs. Johnston in room 408. It’s not too late. Thank you to all of you who have donated.

  • Red Ribbon Week: Some facts about drugs and alcohol - Drinking alcohol is more harmful to young people and teens than adults because their brains are still developing. Young people who begin drinking before the age of 15 are 4 times more likely to develop alcohol dependence than those who begin drinking at age 21.

  • There will be an NJHS meeting this Thursday.  If you cannot make it, please see Mrs. Battistoni PRIOR to Thursday.  Make sure you check in at the amphitheater before the meeting.
