PROGRAM OFFERINGS
Our teachers focus their instruction on improving students’ mathematics and literacy skills. Teachers collaborate frequently to analyze data and work together to help students be more successful. Staff is given time to research, identify, implement and discuss effective teaching strategies. Professional development is focused on improving instruction and student learning. Sixth and seventh grade students who require additional support in reading are placed in the READ180 program. We also offer a Skill Building Class which concentrates on specific skills in reading and math in an effort to help improve student achievement and support RtI. Using the PBIS philosophy, students are taught to be Responsible, Respectful and Safe. Expectations are taught and reinforced throughout the school year. Students are rewarded for exhibiting positive behavior.
