Principal's Message

 

Welcome to the Greenbriar School website. Our purpose for providing such a site is to display both the excellence that we as a school demonstrate as well as give some general information. Please feel free to explore the various links and check in from time to time to see what changes are occurring.

I would like to introduce myself, my name is Mr. Michael P. McLaughlin and I am the Principal of Greenbriar School. Although I am new to this school, I am not new to the district. I was the Principal at Veterans Memorial Middle School for four years and the Assistant Principal at Nathan Hale Middle School for five years.

This is my 17th year in education. I was a Physical Education, Driver Education and Health Education teacher for 5 years; along with coaching a variety of boys and girls athletics and activities. I spent 2 years as an Assistant Principal in a neighboring school district and I have spent the last 9 years in Cook County School District 130. I have been very happy in District 130.
