District Foundation
Foundation Information
School District 130 Educational Foundation was formed to promote and support excellence within School District 130 of Cook County, Illinois, to enhance student development and encourage excellence through creative teaching, and to support the curriculum of the District. The foundation will combine the efforts of the citizens of the District with its educators, parents and students to raise interest and financial support for specific educational improvements, and acknowledgments within the District.
The foundation will, through its fundraising activities (including but not limited to annual golf outing, personal solicitations, mail and e-mail solicitations) solicit, accept, receive and distribute contributions of money, land stocks bonds, personal property and other such items of value from individuals, businesses, trusts, foundations, corporations or other lawful entity to be used for the purposes of advancing and enhancing the educational goals and objectives of the District and its students. The foundation reserves the right to refuse any contribution it deems not to be in the best interest of the Foundation.
