Superintendent's Cabinet

The Superintendent's Cabinet is composed of the district's senior-level administrators. This team meets weekly to discuss each of their departments–Curriculum and Instruction, Human Resources, and Business Services.

Carrie Tisch, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction

Carrie Tisch started working with Cook County School District 130 in August 1999. She has served in numerous roles from teacher to assistant principal and principal before moving into her current role as the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction in July 2018.

In her current role, Mrs. Tisch is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of all instructional programs; coordination of curriculum related matters; and evaluation of all instructional programs for building administrators and teachers. Mrs. Tisch is also responsible for the formation of a budget to support the district’s instructional programs and to support the Superintendent with district objectives and plans as they relate to continuous improvement of instruction. Mrs. Tisch is dedicated to serving the students, families, staff, and peers of Cook County School District 130.

Mrs. Tisch’s education includes a Master of Arts Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University (Wheaton, IL). Mrs. Tisch earned a second Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Governors State University (University Park, IL). She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from St. Xavier University (Chicago, IL) where she received a scholarship to play softball. Carrie enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling with her husband and two children.

John Dudzik, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources

John Dudzik has served as the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources since July 2015. In this role, he is responsible for the initiating, coordinating, directing, and monitoring personnel services of the over 600 full- and part-time employees that serve Cook County School District 130. The Human Resources department coordinates the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of all new personnel. Mr. Dudzik’s team also maintains all personnel files, ensures that the District is in compliance with all federal and state employment related laws and regulations, and that there is an equitable implementation of Board Policy and district employee contracts.   


Mr. Dudzik earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Secondary Education as well as a Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration, both from Saint Xavier University in Chicago. John attended Cook County School District 130 as a student from prekindergarten to eighth grade. He student taught and held multiple teaching roles across our district, during which time he met his wife. Mr. Dudzik also served as Assistant Principal and then Principal of Nathan Hale Middle School, before stepping into his current role in 2015. John is an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and The Rolling Stones, and enjoys passing this love on to his three children.  

Lucero Moreno, Assistant Superintendent of Business Services

Lucero Moreno joined Cook County School District 130 as a bookkeeper within our Business Services Department in 2006. Her development of systems to maintain the accountability of district finances led to her appointment of Controller for our district in 2015. In her current role, Lucero leads the Business Services department in the  maintenance of all financial functions required to operate CCSD130 in a fiscally responsible manner that aligns with federal and state mandates and reporting requirements. Additionally, she and her department provide a wide range of supports to district and school administration. This includes the funding of instructional programs and special projects, as well as the monitoring of: health and life safety procedures; maintenance and continued improvement of district facilities and grounds; student transportation and meal services; and numerous partnership arrangements.     

Lucero received her Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration with a focus on courses to support her Illinois licensure to becoming a Chief School Business Officer from Governors State University (University Park, IL). Previously, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from University of Illinois - Chicago. Lucero is proud to serve the community where she lives, sends her daughter to school, and attended school herself from prekindergarten through eighth grade.
