REGISTRATION 2017-2018

All students enrolling in Cook County School District 130 for the 2017-18 school year will be required to utilize our new online registration system, InfoSnap. Please follow the instructions below to begin the online registration process. 

Please note that all parents MUST ATTEND one of the designated Registration Days in order to complete residency verification and turn in required health forms.

RETURNING STUDENTS

All returning students were provided Access IDs and Passwords for the PowerSchool Parent Portal. If you have already created an account, please log in to the portal using your username and password and begin the registration process. If you have not created an account, please follow the instructions in the PowerSchool Account Setup Guide

Power School

NEW STUDENTS

Students enrolling in District 130 for the first time will not be able to access the PowerSchool Parent Portal until our Registration Days on Aug. 2 and Aug. 3. Please see the 2017-18 Registration Packet to view the health and residency requirements for enrollment.

K-8 REGISTRATION

(George Washington, Kerr Middle, Lincoln, Nathan Hale Primary/Intermediate/Middle, Paul Revere Primary/Intermediate, Veterans Memorial Middle, Whittier)

When: Noon to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 2, and Thursday, Aug. 3

Where: 

  • Nathan Hale Middle School, 5220 W. 135th St. in Crestwood
    • For students attending Hale Primary/Intermediate/Middle, George Washington
  • Paul Revere Primary School, 2300 W. 123rd Place in Blue Island
    • For students attending Paul Revere Primary/Intermediate, Veterans Memorial Middle
  • Lincoln School, 2140 West Broadway in Blue Island
    • For students attending Lincoln, Whittier, Kerr Middle 

EARLY CHILDHOOD/PRE-K REGISTRATION

(Horace Mann and Nathan Hale Pre-K)

When: Noon to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 2, and Thursday, Aug. 3

Where: Registration for the Early Childhood/Pre-K programs will be available at all three registration sites.

* Visa, MasterCard, Discover and debit cards are accepted in addition to money orders and cash.  Personal checks will not be accepted.

 

COMPUTER/INTERNET ACCESS

Computers will be available at all registration sites. Computers with Internet access are also available at the local libraries.

Alsip: Free access for card-holders only.

Blue Island: Free access for card-holders, or $2 per hour for those without a card.

Crestwood: Free access for card-holders, or $1 per 30 minutes for those without a card.

Robbins: Free access for card-holders, or $1 per hour for those without a card. 

 

FEES

Registration payments can be made with credit cards, debit cards, money orders or cash. Personal checks will not be accepted. Individual school fees will be given at the start of the official school year.

Early Childhood/Pre-K/Kindergarten Registration Fee: $50

Grades 1-5 Registration Fee: $65

Grades 6-8 Registration Fee: $120

Full Lunch Price: $1.75 per day

Reduced Lunch Price: $0.40 per day

Milk Price: $0.30 per day

 

FREE/REDUCED LUNCH AND PRE-K SNACK APPLICATIONS

An application must be filled out each year in order to receive free or reduced lunch. If you qualify for free or reduced lunch, the school fees listed above will be waived.

PHYSICAL/IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS FOR SCHOOL ENTRY 

Please be advised all students entering their first year of preschool, kindergarten and sixth grade are required by Illinois state law, to have a current physical exam and updated immunizations. Also any other students who are not up to date with Illinois state law physical and immunization requirements must provide updated information. Please be advised there have been changes to the immunization requirements for the 2016-2017 school year. This information must be received before the first day of school in order for your child to start the 2016-2017 school year or your child will be at risk of exclusion. Please be advised doctor appointment cards will not be accepted. Kindergarten vision exams are due before October 15th. Dental exams for Kindergarten, 2nd and 6th grades are also required. Please bring the required forms to registration for the nurse to review. All required forms were sent home with your child’s 3rd quarter report card. Pre-K going into kindergarten will be sent home in the end of the year registration packet. Any questions, please contact your school nurse.
